The Centre for Student Parent experience, advocacy and research in Higher Education
SpearHEd is a collaborative research and advocacy centre dedicated to improving the experiences of student parents across higher education. The Centre aims to brings together academics, institutions, and partner organisations to generate evidence, share best practice, and influence policy and practice at local, national, and international levels.
Through research, partnership, and the development of a new Student Parent Charter, SPearHEd works to secure effective, sustainable, and inclusive support for student parents throughout their higher education journeys.
